Conductive ESD Table Mats – Roll Material, Cut-to-Size or Compact Table Sets with Accessories
ESD table mats form the foundation of a standards-compliant ESD workstation. They ensure reliable dissipation of electrostatic charges from components, tools and surfaces directly at the workplace – a central requirement in EPA areas per DIN EN 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
All ESD table mats in the ESD-PROTECT range meet the following basic requirements:
- Heat resistant – resistant to solder splashes and thermal stress

Versions and Supply Forms
ESD table mats are available in various versions depending on workstation configuration:

- ESD table mats – Pre-cut pieces in common standard dimensions. Ready for immediate use, with defined dissipation resistance values per standard.
- ESD table mat sets – Complete solutions including grounding cable and snap fastener connection. Suitable for the rapid setup of standards-compliant EPA workstations.
- Table mat accessories – Grounding cables, snap fasteners, grounding adapters and spare parts to supplement existing table mats.
Notes on Selecting the Right ESD Table Mat
The selection of the appropriate ESD table mat depends on the application profile of the workstation. Relevant factors include table size, mechanical stress, chemical exposure and the required dissipation resistance values per standard. As a reference value, a dissipation resistance of 10⁶ to 10⁹ Ohm applies for dissipative surfaces per DIN EN 61340-5-1.
