ESD Foils and Hoods
ESD film packaging protects sensitive electronic components from damage caused by electrostatic charging and discharging. It is used during transport as well as during storage and handling in the electronics industry. The range includes various types of film with dissipative, conductive or shielding properties that fulfil different protective functions depending on requirements.

ESD Films and Covers: Reliable Protection for Sensitive Electronics
A single electrostatic discharge can damage sensitive semiconductors, PCBs or assemblies — often unnoticed, with consequential damage that only shows up later in the field. A suitable ESD film creates a controlled, dissipative environment for transport, storage and handling.
Not All ESD Film Is the Same
Depending on the requirement, different film types are used. Dissipative films release charges slowly and in a controlled manner and are well suited to the general handling of sensitive components. Conductive films offer lower resistance and therefore faster charge equalization for highly sensitive components. Shielding films go a step further, blocking electrostatic fields from the outside — for example during shipping over longer distances or storage in uncontrolled environments.
ESD Covers: Protection Beyond Packaging
Alongside films, ESD covers are a standard part of many EPA areas. They are placed over workstations, machines or assemblies when not in use, protecting them from dust, contamination and electrostatic charging caused by friction or external sources.
Whether for shipping, interim storage or the workbench: our range of ESD films and covers reliably protects your entire material flow against electrostatic risks.
