What characterises ESD footwear?
Footwear is classified as ESD footwear if the electrical resistance of the person-shoe-floor system is less than 3.5 x 107 ohms or 35 MOhm in accordance with EN61340-5-1 (verification).
ESD shoes conduct electrical charges safely and in a controlled manner, provided that you are on conductive flooring, which is used particularly in EPA zones.
The conductivity of ESD footwear should be checked regularly using special footwear testing devices. We are constantly expanding our online range of ESD shoes. If you cannot find the model you are looking for in our shop, simply give us a call.
