Application:
Wherever insulating or poorly conductive materials need to be electrically conductive, e.g. plastic surfaces, containers, panels, etc. Furthermore, materials such as steel, aluminum, etc. can also be treated to ensure a "gentle discharge" (for some materials an adhesive primer is required)
Properties:
The ESD spray paint AstraStat ESD Type S is a 2-component PU solvent-based paint and can be applied to a wide variety of substrates, some of which are difficult to coat, such as metal, laminate, wood, plastic, PVC, GRP, etc.
The extremely durable and chemical-resistant coating has a surface resistance of <3.5E7Ω. The electrical properties are permanent and independent of humidity and temperature.
The wide-jet spray head allows extremely fine atomization of the paint particles and thus a more regular application of the paint. After activation, the contents of the can can be applied for approx. 5 hours.
Coverage (approximate value): approx. 1-2m²/400ml
Standard colors:
- light gray ~RAL 7035
- pigeon blue ~RAL 5014
- red ~RAL 3000
- black ~RAL 9005
- traffic yellow ~RAL 1023
In addition to the standard colors, most colors can be produced in approx. RAL shades (from a quantity of 36 cans). Slight color deviations are due to the coloring of the conductive pigment. The following are not possible: transparent, white, yellow, fluorescent and signal colors.
