The Charge Plate Set turns the EFM 822 or EFM 823 into a charge plate monitor for monitoring air ionizing units in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1 or EOS/ESD S.3.1. The charging electrode with a capacity of 20 pF complies with the standards. The discharge time of +1,000 V ... +100 V or -1,000 V....-100 V is measured with a start-stop timer integrated in the EFM 822/823. Charging is carried out with an external HV converter.
