The monitor permanently monitors the correct earthing of a wrist strap and an ESD work surface. If a connection is unintentionally disconnected (the wrist strap is put down or the earthing cable of the table mat is torn off), an acoustic and visual operator alarm is triggered. The patented "Wave Distortion Technology" allows safe and permanent monitoring compared to other systems, which usually only work in pulsed or intermittent mode. When leaving the work area, the operator can "park" his wrist strap at a special connection point to avoid triggering an alarm.
