TeraResist 8000 Resistance meter

The TERA-RESIST 8000 ME is a high ohmmeter forsurface resistance measurement. It is operated via acolor touch display. The high-ohmmeter offersfour fixed measuring voltages: 10 V, 100 V, 500 V and 1000 V.

Theauto measuring voltage function switches the measuring voltage automatically.

Thetimer function allows you to measure over a defined period of time.

Aninternal memory stores all measured values, which you can send to the PC via theUSB interface using data export.

The supplied software imports and visualizes your measured values.

TeraResist 8000 – Precise Resistance Measurement for Standards-Compliant EPA Test Processes

The TeraResist 8000 is a professional high-resistance meter for the precise measurement of surface, contact and volume resistance in EPA areas. With four selectable measurement voltages from 10 V to 1,000 V and a measurement range from 1 kΩ to 10 TΩ, it covers the entire spectrum of relevant resistance measurements per DIN EN 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20. The auto measurement voltage function automatically selects the optimum measurement voltage for the respective measurement range – for fast, reproducible results without manual adjustment.

The TeraResist 8000 is suitable for the following measurement tasks in EPA areas:

• ESD table mats and floor coverings – Measurement of surface resistance and dissipation resistance per DIN EN 61340-5-1.

Documentation and Data Management

The internal memory of the TeraResist 8000 records all measured values together with temperature, humidity, date and time – a central requirement for audit-proof documentation of EPA test processes. Via the USB interface, stored measurement data is transferred to a PC and imported, visualised and evaluated using the supplied KL_ReadOut software. For fully digital and standards-compliant test equipment management, combining the TeraResist 8000 with the Inventix® ESD Inventory Software from ESD-PROTECT is recommended – for centralised management of calibration status, test cycles and measurement data for all EPA-relevant measurement devices.
