Menu-controlled measuring distance preselection
Voltage potentials on the measurement object can be determined directly by preselecting the measurement distance, eliminating the need for time-consuming conversions. There are 5 measuring distances available, enabling optimum handling of the device even in problematic detection areas.
Hold function
The measured value can be frozen in the display, allowing accurate measurements to be taken even in hard-to-reach areas.
Very high zero point stability
This eliminates the need for zero-point adjustment before each measurement, which is necessary with other systems.
Measuring ranges:
Distance 1cm: 0 to 10kV
Distance 2cm: 0 to 20kV
Distance 5cm: 0 to 50kV
Distance 10cm: 0 to 100kV
Distance 20cm: 0 to 200kV

E-field meter ranges:
manually switchable ± 20kV/m; ± 200kV/m and ± 1MV/m
!! With this function the analog voltage output ±1V is switched on !!!
Max. Value:
Range 1cm is switched on (for EFM 823)
After pressing the button, the maximum positive and negative measured values are displayed (walk test). Pressing the button again deletes the max. Values are deleted and the process starts again.
