The charge plate monitor CPM8374B measures the voltage potential on its integrated plate electrode. Based on a pre selected voltage the timer function monitors the discharge time. Integrated are a high voltage unit and a electro field meter working after the field mill-influence-principle. This enables the needed high input impedance of 1015Ω, to measure electrostatic voltage potentials and discharge times of air ionizers.
