The freestanding EMIT-Ion-gooseneck with foot switch was especially created for extremly accurate ionization, to keep both hands free while working. It uses an external compressed air system and can be used with air pressure of 30 PSI (2 bar) up to 100 PSI (6.9 bar). The exact pressure is reliant on the type of work. Air pressure of 60 PSI (4 bar) is recommended.
