Where are ionizers used?

In many manufacturing processes, electrostatic charges can significantly disrupt the production process. Ionizers are used to neutralise such charges in a targeted manner.


A classic area of application is the semiconductor industry, as electronic components are extremely sensitive to electrostatic discharges – in the worst case, this can lead to irreparable damage.

Ionizers also provide valuable services in the packaging industry, where they prevent plastic films or sleeves from sticking together due to electrostatic forces.


Ionisers are also indispensable in assembly and clean room processes. Dust and other particles often adhere to workpieces in these areas, which can lead to quality problems. Ionisation electrically neutralises the parts and reliably removes unwanted particles – for clean processes and optimal results.
